How To Be Active in PNW Leisure Hiking

How To Be Active in PNW Leisure Hiking

…Or maybe the better title would be, “How do I get the most out of my PNW Leisure Hiking membership?” It’s easy to participate in PNW Leisure Hiking. We don’t have a minimum number of events you must attend every month. We do ask that you visit the website at least once every 60 days (please see the Rules and Regulations for more information).

There are a lot of different ways to participate! Here are some ideas.
~Attend events
~RSVP for all events (yes, no, or maybe), whether you plan to attend or not
~Rate the group, events, and locations when you receive the email from Meetup.com after attending an event
~Email members through Meetup.com
~Read and post on the message board
~Upload your photos and check out others’ photos in the Photos section
~Complete your profile
~Participate in polls
~Suggest hike ideas and locations to the Organizer or to Assistant Organizers
~Offer to help lead an activity and/or greet members
~If you have a complaint, please direct it to the Organizer or an Assistant Organizer rather than airing it in public
~Ask how to become an Assistant Organizer

In general, this group is very flexible, and there are probably exceptions to every rule. Just remember, communication is the most important thing.
