Hiking with Dogs

Hiking with your dog can bring unparalleled rewards. Not only do you have the benefit of sharing your adventure with one of your best buds, you also have the advantage of seeing the wilderness through your canine companion’s point of view. Dogs really know how to live, sniffing around and trotting through the forest is usually enough to make them happy. Share their joy.

Hiking is great exercise not just for you, but for your dog too! Fit dogs usually lead longer, healthier lives. Being outside in nature can help you and your dog get away from the stress of daily life. A well-exercised dog is more relaxed, better adjusted, and less likely to be disruptive or destructive.

BUT- you knew there’d be a “but,” didn’t you? There are some important things to keep in mind before you take your canine into the woods.

These pages will cover many topics related to making the most of your adventures- both safely and responsibly. Please choose an option from the left.
