Can I post my photos of our hikes to the PNW Leisure Hiking Meetup website?
Members are highly encouraged to display their images on the PNW Leisure Hiking Meetup Website. Any appropriate image is acceptable. Members may have their personal Photo Gallery or Website listed on the Meetup website. If you cannot upload images, then your images can be forwarded as e-mail attachments– or on a CD-ROM or DVD to the Organizer.
Can I post links to other sites that I think would be of interest to other members?
At this time, the Organizer is requesting that you forward links directly to her via Email, and she will be happy to add them to the list. Please include the URL, the name of the site, a brief description of the site, and why you think it would be useful to other members.
Why do you use Meetup for PNW Leisure Hiking?
Meetup.com is an amazing tool for organizing groups- not only does it allow us to keep files, photos, events, calendars, and even our finances all in one place but it also sends out automatic reminders, allows you to pay for events online, and even hosts a private messaging system that allows interested people to contact you, and you to reply, without ever having to give them your personal email address.
Is it free to use Meetup.com?
Membership in Meetup.com is free; however, organizers pay to use the service.
